Old family farm of Sirkkaliisa and Markku Koivuniemi specialises in arranging country holidays for families with children among river, field and forest scenery. In this peasant style yard milieu there is a place to do things which is 'more country than town' (from "a home pig to a silky chinchilla and living garter", and from hay jumping to oats swimming and an excursion by tractor). Children can participate in animal care, e.g. milking, caring for chickens, grooming horses. Many arranged programmes included in holiday, e.g. river trips and traditional crafts and skills. Local food forms an important food for a holiday, as also for the Merikarvia theme. Meals are served in the living room of the old main building and Landepaukku café. The farm has several saunas: a smoke sauna, earth smoke sauna, gnome sauna, electric sauna and tent sauna. Guests have free use of e.g. canoes and rowing boats, as well as games and recreation rooms. Horse riding, with guide, for extra charge.

All cottages have cooking corner with water tap and eco-WC.
Additionally, Landevintti loft 2+3 upstairs in Landepaukku café.

Shared showers, WCs in Landepaukku and separate maintenance building.

Koivuniemi farm holidays offers a possibility to enjoy a rustic life in Koivuniemi farm in Merikarvia in Western Finland. Koivuniemi farm situated in rural surroundings, near of the river. There is domestic animal park too, with 25 different kind of animals.

Sauna

The smoke sauna and "the underground smoke sauna" situated in the riverside. Old-fashioned "tonttusauna" situated near of the beach. In the main building is the electric sauna.
